Massage & relaxation - a sweet way to end the week!

60mins self-massage: using balls & breathwork we’ll roll; exploring, softening & releasing tension in the myofascial network. I'll guide you through safe ways to explore tension using balls in different ways in a range of positions. Also great to learn as a pre or post-workout tool. One bonus of this type of 'massage' is that you can control the pressure yourself using ball, body weight, movement options & use of the wall or floor. Yoga Tune Up Therapy balls available for purchase in class.

Each of the 3 sessions will focus on a different area: lower body (Sep) / midbody (Oct) / lower body (Nov). Choose 1 or all 3.

30mins yoga nidra: for deeper release we finish lying down with a guided relaxation. Yoga nidra, like a 'yogic sleep', is a powerful tool for deep relaxation and healing. Everyone is welcome - no experience with yoga or meditation necessary - this is a guided practice, making it very accessible. Yoga nidra is a deeply restorative, regenerative experience for body & mind. 90mins end of week bliss!

About Kasha:
I was drawn to yoga for mental & physical ‘space’. Now yoga is like a best buddy – it goes with me everywhere & has taught me so much. One key lesson I return to on my mat is to slow down and remember we are human beings rather than human doings.

I've been teaching movement for over 25 years and especially love leading this kind of slow practice that's so accessible and beneficial on many levels. I practice yoga through teachings from Ashram Yoga 500hr and am influenced by my background in public health, fitness instructing, pilates and many styles of yoga. Please let me know if you have any questions.
