Join us for this Weekend Art Workshop where we learn to create “Tsa-Tsas”. Tsa-Tsas are statues of various Buddhas. This is a form of art that has flourished for centuries in the Himalayas, most notably Tibet!
It is also an opportunity to make beautiful and unique Christmas gifts for your family and friends.
A sacred practice, with each step in the creative process: mixing the materials, casting the molds and so on, one does particular visualizations and makes aspirations. Often tsatsas are made for people who are sick or to commemorate loved ones who have died. The process also has a calming and inspiring effect on the mind.
The weekend workshop is open for anyone to join - no Buddhist nor Art experience required! We also have accommodation options available if you would like to stay in our peaceful retreat oasis.
(This event is designed for adults, and not recommended for children.)
