Half day experiential workshop with Sika.
Sika holds a safe space for us to drop into relaxation, to enter a magical world of sound and silence. A series of healing Sound Journeys throughout the afternoon will invoke a primal memory, a gateway for reconnection to ourselves, to nature and to spirit.
SPECIAL NOTE REGARDING COVID RESTRICTIONS:
Unfortunately, I'm really sorry to advise that Thistle Hall will not allow entry to the building without a vaccine passport. Therefore, this event is only open to people with a vaccination passport. I feel really troubled by the thought of turning anyone away.
If you're not vaccinated I'd love you to join me at my Sound Journey in Kapiti which is open to everyone. In Kapiti I will be following the government's guidelines on social distancing and reduced numbers.
Tickets are from: Eventfinda
Advance tickets - $70 (+ booking fee)
There is a limited capacity of 16 people.

The didgeridoo forms an important foundation for Sika's music, however he also uses drums, native flutes, voice and a broad selection of historical Maori instruments. Sika plays intuitively in-the-moment, as his beloved collection of natural instruments open him and us to spirit. His deep vocal sounds add to the soundscapes, as do foraged natural objects like leaves, sticks, bones and shells.
Other sources of sound such as water, fire, trees, animals and wind are used with the ultimate intention to build soundscapes that enable us to leave time and enter a trance.
Door sales are subject to availability on the day and cost $100.
Advance booking is recommended as drop-in availability cannot be guaranteed.
