On International Women's Day, head to Aotea Square for a special demonstration performed by wāhine fire knife dancers.

The performance is part of the wider Siva Afi Festival, primarily hosted at Māngere Arts Centre. Experience the phenomenon of siva afi ailao as South Auckland hosts a fire knife competition between local secondary schools alongside a free festival of wāhine toa afi performances.
