Come along and have a laugh with some of Christchurch’s funniest women for an evening of stand-up comedy from some stand-up women!
Anybody’s welcome to come in and watch the show, it’s just the performers that will always be women. They’ll be performing a mix of new and classic material, so who knows what you’ll see on any given night! Come along and have a giggle with some funny ladies doing their thing!
While we’ll have curated a lineup in advance, we’ll also be holding some open spots on the night in case anybody feels like getting up and giving it a go for the first time, tell a joke, spin a yarn, whatever you like!
It’s free entry if you get up and do a 5-minute set, and all profits are split evenly by the performers. This show will be a special occasion as Laura Bruce will be the MC. Laura has been a mainstay in the Christchurch comedy scene for the past year or so and is moving up to Wellington soon, this will likely be her last show in town. It’s an absolutely massive hit for the scene to take in losing Laura, but we know she will thrive no matter where she goes!
