Musician Stewart Pedley will bring his intimate, stripped-back performance of 'From Clay' to the sublime setting of The Last Church in Āpiti for a special one-off show in Manawatū.
Stewart’s music is described as colourful and vivid. The melodies are vibrant and the images striking. Curious characters inhabit the music and defining moments shape the songs; all the while the feet can’t help but tap along. Inside each tune is undeniable spirit, hook, and heart.
Stewart grew up in Feilding, performing music around Manawatū and Wellington for many years. He now lives in the Coromandel, writing and playing in the New Orleans-inspired folk-rock band Let’s Go Descarrego! and the garage-punk band Corrosive Moses, as well as acoustic solo sets. In 2014 he won the Original Song Competition for two works.
This unique performance at The Last Church in Āpiti will showcase his broad range of styles and songs in a lovely, close setting. This is a show not to be missed!
Only 50 tickets are available; $32 pp.
Doors open at 4pm for a 4.30pm start.
