This will be the first race in our 5 race summer series. Points awarded for finishing position in each of the five races. Whoever has the most points at the end of the series takes home the trophy! You must be a paid-up member of the club at the start of the series to be eligible for points and the trophy. Non-members are still welcome to come along and race, however.
We will again run this months Chocolate Fish Race in the afternoon at 1.30pm, sign up from 1pm. This is a fun social race that's a great way to get out and improve the fitness or just a great excuse to get out for a ride. While the top guns can still hammer it out amongst themselves for the win, you don't have to be a seasoned racer to come along and have fun, suitable for beginners to world champions.
Sign up and race start at the gravel parking area at the western side of the suspension footbridge at the Church Street end of the park from 1.00p.m. Follow the MTB Race signs. Race starts at 1.30pm. Joining up is easy to do, head along to our website and do it all online. All funds go towards maintenance and improvement of our local tracks.
Multi lap race going for 1 Hour, complete as many laps of the course as you can in this time. We will run a course on the south side of the park, with the start at the gravel area on the west side of the new footbridge.
If the weather is no good we will postpone.
We will also hold a Kids Chocolate Fish before this race at 12pm at the kids track over the road.
