Take Back The Night - Rape Awareness Week 2021

Brought to you by Thursdays in Black Manawatū, in association with Massey University Students' Association, we are marching in solidarity with survivors of sexual violence.

Thursdays in Black is a movement towards a world with no rape and violence.

This event is in recognition of Rape Awareness Week 2021.

We will be walking from the Massey University Manawatū Concourse to The Square, Palmerston North, departing at 6pm, to arrive in The Square around 7pm. A free bus will return participants to Massey University after the march. Contact us if you have access requirements. Car support will be available.

The itinerary:

18:00 – Leaving Massey University Concourse

18:20 – Pit stop at the Hardie Street Reserve

18:50 – Arrive at The Square, enjoy refreshments and hear guest speaker

19:30 – Grab a free bus back to Massey University from The Square
