Taste of Cultures

Join MC Aziz Al-Sa'afin on this worldly journey of culture and cuisine. We'll enjoy a three-course meal inspired by recipes handed down through the generations from Cambodia, Syria and Ethiopia.

Guests will start the evening with canapes and drinks in the Spark Lounge, and will then be taken on our journey through food, music, dance, stories, performances and world-class speakers in The Atrium - a unique venue space within Spark Arena.

You'll also have a chance to join the online auction, with incredible items up for grabs including guitars signed by Coldplay and Taylor Swift, an album signed by Bruce Springsteen, and many more!

Refugees are ordinary people facing extraordinary circumstances. They have experienced war, persecution, discrimination, racism and oppression. They've been forced to flee from their homeland because of nothing more than their ethnicity, religion or beliefs. Refugees have been denied basic human rights in their country of origin and are unable to safely return home.

Taste of Cultures is an opportunity to show the incredible contribution that our refugee-background whanau are making to our communities. The event will raise vital funds for our New Zealand Red Cross programmes to help people affected by conflict or disaster, here and around the world.
