Taupo is proud to hold one of the first racedays in the new racing season starting on the 1st August each year.
The day starts with the Fiber Fresh Trials for Group horses. Two Trial runs will be had.
8 races carded. Race sponsors confirmed are Haunui Farm, Matamata Veterinary Centre, The Oak Stud, Cambridge Stud, Little Avondale Stud, Te Akau Stud, Waikato Stud and the feature race being the Taupo PAK'nSAVE Fillies 1100m with increased stakes of $25000.00. New this year will be the 3YO Colts & Geldings over 1100m for $15,000 minimum.
Members Marquee will be erected for Members, Sponsors and Owners.
Public invited to pre-purchase a Hospitality Package ito the Fiber Fresh Marquee erected beside the Members Marquee.
Package $40pp includes: entry to enclosure, racebook, 2 course lunch, standard drink, racing celebrity tipsters and a $10 voucher with TAB caravan close. Tables of 6 available.
Public Marquee will be available with inside facility and "Catch 22" Food Vendor and TAB facilities close by.
