Japan has the highest life expectancy of any country in the world. What are their secrets to living a long and healthy life?
In this 2-hour workshop, tutor Kaoru Iguchi will share her secrets of longevity and wellbeing with you.
The workshop will be an interactive curriculum covering:
- Well-known Japanese culture
- How to become health conscious
- Japanese healthy food you can prepare in NZ
- Practical and easy everyday exercises
Just bring a notebook, a pen, a towel (approx. 90cm length) and an open mind. We look forward to spending an informative and enlightening afternoon with you.
The workshop is $35pp (+ booking fees) and places are strictly limited.
Organic tea and light snacks will be provided
About the tutor:
Kaoru Iguchi was born in Tokyo, Japan. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (majoring in Sociology) from Waseda University, Tokyo and has completed the Language for Primary Teaching course at University of Auckland. She also holds 5 qualifications in the social welfare field from Japan. She was a private tutor for nearly 20 years in Japan, and had taught Japanese language & culture at primary and intermediate schools for 9 years in NZ. Nowadays she runs private workshops focusing on wellbeing , self-esteem & positive ageing.
