Join Fred and Phil for a barbie at NZ Fringe 2021! There will be yarns. There will be snags. There will be existential banter and original bangers but most of all there will be friendship!
Loose Unit returns with a new immersive theatre experience for NZ Fringe 2021! After a sold-out debut with The Party in 2020, The BBQ Boys are back, but this time they've got the whole show to themselves. This unique devised comedy explores masculinity, grief and mental health through the trademark funnies and friendships Loosies (That's what we call our fans/mums) love!
So bring a picnic blanket, some snacks and your mates along to Aro Park for a stellar evening!!
Every show will be followed by a bbq with koha collected for the Mental Health Foundation NZ.
This is an outdoor event. Please note that shows may be cancelled/postponed in the event of extreme weather conditions. Fingers crossed Welly will pull through for us but you know how it is!
