The Big Dig Event this Sunday from 10 am-12 pm is a fundraiser for the maintenance of the Kawatiri Coastal Trail. You can get your tickets from our Major Sponsor of the event Top 10 Holiday Park - Carters Beach or you can sign up on the day between 10-10.30am and then start digging fast to find the lucky stone to claim your prize.
There will be an Under 5's area, so they can happily dig away at their own pace - adults and kids can tough it out together in a separate area. The event offers plenty of ngā mahi a te rēhia (entertainment) for the whole family, as there will also be the bouncy castle, sausage sizzle and a lollie scramble to finish the fun-filled morning with. The fabulous Carters Beach Community Market will also be running from 10 am at the Carters Beach Hall.
As well as Top 10 Holiday Park - Carters Beach contributing to this event fantastic prizes have been kindly donated by Donaldo's, Bradley's Furniture, Carters by the Sea, Property Brokers and many more.
Major prize is a trip for four with Outwest Tours and a voucher for Donaldo's Cafe and Restaurant total value of $560!!! Plus many more amazing prizes to be won!
