The Garden City Mākete

Ōtautahi’s newest market, showcasing over 60 small local businesses and creators within the beautiful Papa Hou space at the YMCA Christchurch site. Offering food, ethical or second-hand fashion, jewellery, art, pottery, plants, and so much more! Support all of your favourite small businesses from one location!

There will be food trucks and stalls outside the YMCA, and signs showing you into Papa Hou (the large event space) where you can find all of our amazing indoor small business stalls and more food.

Please note that unfortunately, Papa Hou is not yet an accessible venue for the disabled as there is no lift or ramps provided.
