The Lady Sings The Blues

The Lady Sings The Blues brings together four of the South's top folk blues jazz musicians, featuring Scottish born blues Mama Isabella (Izzy) Miller Bell AKA Ma Bell accompanied by John Bevin on piano/vocals, Michael Kime on upright Bass and Danny Wilson on Sax, flute and vocals.

This impromptu special Halloween concert performance replaces My Back Pages and Madame Tragedie & Accomplices, both recently cancelled from the 2021 Miller Bell Music calendar of events due to Covid.

The programme will include original composition, classic blues and Jazz arrangements along with a selection from the cancelled events including the Billie Holiday classics Fine & Mellow and the infamous legendary and very spooky Gloomy Sunday & Strange Fruit.

Join us for a night of superb music, humour and warm soulful connection with plenty of Tricks n Treats in store. All Witches, Wizards, Ghosts and Zombies welcome.
