AMRF-funded researchers from The University of Auckland will discuss the latest advances in cancer research and how their current and future research can help ensure our good health. From lab bench, to patient bedside via the boardroom, all towards better care, you will hear how new drugs and treatments reach the cancer patients who need them.

Speakers:
- A/Prof Michael Hay from the Auckland Cancer Society Research Centre A/Prof Hay is the Director of the Auckland Cancer Society Research Centre. He is a drug designer, medicinal chemist and a respected senior researcher
- Professor Mark Elwood in the Dept. of Epidemiology and Biostatistics. Prof Elwood is Professor of Cancer Epidemiology, a specialist in epidemiology as well as an esteemed public health physician.

If Auckland is in Level 1, the in-person event will be held at the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences at the University of Auckland, the Medical School, at 85 Park Road in Grafton. There is no parking available on site but many public transport options available. If Auckland is not in Level 1, a webinar will be held on Facebook and the AMRF website.
