Celebrate summer and travel with Steam Incorporated from Paekakariki to Wanganui by heritage excursion train.
The train will be hauled by our steam locomotive AB608, and we will be using our set of vintage carriages, some with open balcony ends.
After meandering through the southern suburbs of Wanganui, our train will deliver you to the riverside Taupo Quay. Wanganui offers river cruises, easy riverside walks, galleries, cafes and a tram barn.
You can board the train at Paraparaumu, Waikanae, Otaki, Levin, Shannon and Palmerston North.
