Thriving Madly Community invites you to join a Tree of Life workshop to explore the growth and wisdom you have crafted as you weather the storms of life. Through connection and craft, we will reflect on where we have come from, where we have got to, and identify the possibilities for our future.
The Tree of Life originated in Zimbabwe and was developed to help people understand their trauma and struggles when life has been like a raging river. The storytelling process enables participants to develop an appreciation of their strengths, healing their spirit and establishing a sense of self-worth and community.
The workshop is peer lead by Anne, Dana and Karen, who are all trained in Intentional Peer Support. Through completing the process themselves they have regained a sense of strength and pride. They have also found that despite their differences, similar themes of beauty and courage have contributed to their tree of life.
