Otago Settlers Association Tuesday Club meets once a month for morning tea and a guest speaker. This month’s speakers are Dr Melanie Dick and, life-member of Dunedin Photographic Society, Dr Terry Maguire.
In March 1890 a small group of enthusiastic photographers formed the Dunedin Photographic Society with the firm intention of encouraging amateur pictorial photography. Today, 130 years later, the group is larger and more diverse, but the intent of fostering enthusiastic amateur photographers continues. Terry Maguire and Melanie Dick will present a history of the society along with a selection of work from current Photographic Society members.
