About the speakers
Dr Oliver Stead has been Curator Drawings Paintings and Prints at the Alexander Turnbull Library since October 2015. He is the author of a number of books on New Zealand art. Oliver has previously held senior and specialist roles in several collecting institutions in Australia and New Zealand. His doctoral research focussed on the New Zealand-born art dealer and collector Sir Rex Nan Kivell.

Anthony Tedeschi has held the position of Curator Rare Books and Fine Printing at the Alexander Turnbull Library since 2015. He previously held positions at the University of Melbourne and Dunedin City Library. Anthony holds a Master’s in Library Science with a specialisation in rare books and manuscripts librarianship, and a MA in English Literature.
