Up Late at the Museum

Join us Up Late at the Museum for a Friday night that is a little bit different! For after-work drinks with colleagues, date night that is not the usual restaurant meal, or to start your weekend with something fun, come along to OM!

The whole Museum will stay open until 9.30pm. There is live music with some of Dunedin's most talented singer-songwriters playing acoustic sets downstairs, our Cafe is open with wine, beer, delicious platters and shared tapas plates.

Wander through the galleries, take in a free guided mini-tour of Fashion FWD >> and People of the World galleries, or take a walk amongst the butterflies in the warmth of the Tropical Forest with a wine in hand.

Our Planetarium will host a very special screening of David Lynch’s 1984 cult classic Dune. You can bring food or drink to the planetarium to make your movie night even better.

Regular ticket prices apply to Tūhura and Planetarium screenings.
