Verity Esmae Burgess MAMT, BMus

Originally from Auckland Verity has just returned back to New Zealand after spending the past 10 years in the UK. Verity completed her Bachelor of Music (B.Mus) through the New Zealand School of Music. Verity's love of both music and dance took her through a natural transition into musical theatre. This led her to the United Kingdom, where she gained a Masters from the prestigious UK based drama school, Guildford School of Acting.

Verity began her Musical Theatre journey, joining the cast of West Side Story for The Royal Shakespeare Company/North Music Trust. She then went on to perform in two back to back #1 UK Tours with Bill Kenwright Ltd in Evita, which then transferred into the Dominion Theatre, where she debuted in London's West End. Verity's latest credits were for Really Useful Group/Royal Caribbean where she played 'Demeter' in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats, as 'Storyteller' and Dance Captain in Children of Eden at the Union Theatre in London and was an 'Eva Peron' understudy in the most recent International Tour of Evita.

She has performed at shows and concerts in over 15 countries (Visit www.verityesmae.com for further details on Verity)
