The Tasting Room at Villa Maria Estate in Auckland is launching an Autumn event series including picnics and wine flights to celebrate Villa Maria’s first organic wine range, EarthGarden.

EarthGarden showcases premium organic wines that are bursting with life and flavour. A sustainable collection of the best of Kiwi winemaking, EarthGarden is 100% BioGro certified and triumphs Villa Maria’s strong sustainability credentials.

The range includes Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2020, filled with aromas of citrus fruits, lime and grapefruit that leap from the glass; Hawke’s Bay Rosé 2020 with summer-provoking flavours of blood-orange, rosehip and watermelon; Marlborough Pinot Noir 2019 that expresses boysenberries and blueberries with subtle floral notes; and Hawke’s Bay Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 with hints of dark fruits, cocoa, sweet vanilla, and clove spices.

For consumers who enjoy food and wine, or a day out amongst the vines, the EarthGarden events offer experiences for all tastes set in the beauty of the vineyards.

The EarthGarden Platter & Wine Flight (16 March – 10 April, open Tuesdays – Saturdays only, 11am – 7pm, except Easter weekend) is for those wishing to enjoy the new EarthGarden wines from the stylish surroundings of the Tasting Room. Whilst taking in the views of the Villa Maria Estate vineyards, customers can select the EarthGarden Platter for $40 for two people, paired with the full Wine Flight for $20 pp.
