For the fourth year running, we are delighted to be supporting North Tec Visual Arts Graduates on their journey to become professional artists. This year we selected three outstanding female artists to participate in our annual graduate exhibition programme. Ngawaina Grace-Timu, Alanah Stigsdottir and Paige Siobhan Pollington have come together applying their skills in painting, collage and photography to a theme that strongly resonates with their art practices. “Wahine Toa” is a celebration of women - paying homage to the numerous roles we take on in our lifetime, honouring our achievements and acknowledging the challenges we face along the way. We look forward to welcoming you to the gallery to view “Wahine Toa” which runs through until 5th May. Artist talks are scheduled for Saturday 17th April and Saturday 1st May when the artists will discuss their works on show and their art practices. All welcome.
