Here’s your excuse to travel to Queenstown this Queens Birthday Weekend!
Join us for an exhilarating display of fine music – weaving New Zealand’s outstanding musicians and the region’s homegrown talent
Featuring performances by New Zealand cream of the crop musicians NZTrio, Stephen De Pledge (piano), Anna Leese (Soprano) and Jonathan Cohen (Clarinet) plus a dozen outstanding Kiwi young artists that will knock your socks off and make you proud to be a New Zealander.
The festival also proudly presents numerous ensembles and individual artists directly from the Queenstown Lakes region – join us as they take the Queenstown Memorial Centre stage to share their music and enthusiasm.
Talks from the Aspen Institute NZ and Starkwhite gallery round out the programme.
A festival pass will provide easy access to all of the sessions and an invitation to the Craigs Investment Partners Festival Kick-off reception Friday 5:30pm.
Thinking of bringing the kids along for some culture? We hope you will! All of the morning sessions are perfect to introduce your ankle biters to excellent music - and a chance for them to cheer on their brothers and sisters. Because the Saturday and Sunday afternoons and evenings are broadcast, we're going to need to ask for a very quiet audience environment, so please bear this in mind.... typical guideline is around 8 years old for kids to hold still for quite a while, but you know your children. "Child" rate is for up to 18-year olds and in the mornings, if they're sitting on your lap, and under 2, there is no charge.
