On Blenheim's back door is The Ned, a defining feature of the Marlborough skyline. Get your walking shoes on and make this walk your rewarding May mission!
Fantastic views over the Wairau & Awatere, Cook Strait and the unique 1000 Ha drylands forest on Tempello Farm, with rifleman birds, kanuka, mountain totara and gorgeous giant Marlborough daisies. All proceeds to Fairhall School.

Registration 8.30 - 9.45am at Taylor Pass Road (just before the saddle)
3 - 5 hour tramping time. Moderate above fitness (700m height climb and 10km walk) appropriate clothing and footwear essential.

Shorter option is to walk the gentle valley floor which suits all ages and abilities.
