In association with Autism New Zealand, Wellington Museum hosts a low-sensory hour on the first Thursday of every month from 4 – 5pm.
Note: The October Low-Sensory Hour will shift to a morning session for the school holidays: Thursday 7 October, 9am - 10am.
We welcome anyone who prefers a low-sensory environment including Autistic and neurodiverse people. It features reduced light and sound for a sensory-friendly experience. The museum will be closed to the public during this time.
