The Alexander Turnbull Library is now 100 years old. Chief Librarian, Chris Szekely reflects on what it takes to care for collections in perpetuity and why the days of heritage libraries are numbered. He is joined by Paul Meredith (Pou Ārahi – Deputy Chief Executive, Māori of Ngā Taonga Sound & Vision), Stephen Pennruscoe (Hamilton City Libraries Director) and Anita Robertson (Collections & Exhibitions Lead at Waikato Museum) to discuss the changing nature of heritage collections, research and services.
