Suzy Cato celebrates the wonders of nature through song and story with local musicians and storytellers. Suzy is our festival guest and will introduce music for kids into our festival programme. She has called on local musicians and storytellers to help her present 20-minute musical performances interwoven with 10-minute storytelling sessions. Kiwi Kids Music Tamariki Puoro is an association formed to support NZ children’s music creators and to advance the potential of all children to live healthy fulfilling lives. This new initiative has been set up by Suzy and those creating the new wave of NZ children’s music. Suzy is keen to highlight Kiwi Kids Music in our celebration of nature.
