Cornwall Park

Come along to Cornwall Park for a fun-filled kids workshop. The Recreators are on a mission to help our community ReCreate waste into value. In this session, they will teach you how to make a tin can flax head character, weave a flax fish and make your own upcycled vase.

Kids can then choose colours and materials to make their own unique creations. We welcome adults to stay, help and create themselves – they often get more of a kick than the kids when making with their hands.

Workshop numbers are limited so registration is essential.
To register please head to our Eventbrite page here. If you have any trouble please email info@cornwallpark.co.nz.

Workshop suitable for ages 7+.

Workshop will be held at the Huia Lodge Discovery Hub in Cornwall Park

The NZ COVID Tracer QR Code will be present at this event and all participants will be expected to scan the code. The code is also placed around the park, in public toilets and within Huia Lodge Discovery Hub. We ask that all participants continue with their basic hygiene practices while at the event and in the park. This includes hand hygiene (washing for 20 seconds, drying thoroughly or using hand sanitiser), coughing or sneezing into your elbow, and avoiding touching your face. Hand sanitiser will be available at the event. If you are feeling unwell before the event, we ask that you stay at home.
