Learn how to use watercolours to paint romantic landscapes inspired by the architecture and gentle beauty of the Village gardens. You will also have the opportunity to use rice paper and Chinese ink for landscapes with a vintage oriental flavour.
Materials required:
-Watercolour set 16 colours (Reeves)
-Universal brush set of 5 (Davinci)
-Pigment liner set of 6 (Staedtler)
-Mega graphite pencil 2B (Cretacolor)
-Britannia Acid-Free 300g Watercolour paper 10 sheets
-Masking tape multi-surface 18mm (washi)
-Masking fluid (Schmincke)
You may already have some of these items. If not, all items are available for purchase from Gordon Harris, please ask for a 10% discount. Total cost of materials is roughly $107.
Also bring a water bottle/tin for brush wash and a cloth/sponge for water absorption.
