World IP Day celebrates the role that intellectual property rights (patents, trademarks, designs, copyright) play in encouraging innovation and creativity.

We’ve created an event that showcases innovative new start-ups, to carry the 2021 theme: ‘Taking Your Ideas to Market’.

The panel will talk about their approaches; how they take on radical recycling, shine a light on Kiwi inventiveness, cutting edge Māori fashion, inspiring social entrepreneurship and generosity, circular economies in architecture, indigenous bitcoin…

Presenting are:
- MC: DK, creative producer and speaker coach.
- Presenter: Will Barker, founder of Mint Innovation.
- Presenter: Kaye-Maree Dunn, founder of Making Everything Achievable.
- Presenter: Ged Finch, inventor of X-Frame.
