A Milkmas Carol takes audience engagement to the next level. Take control of the scene by hurling the provided water balloons at performers in an effort to change the narrative. This time around we're milkifying A Christmas Carol, but will it be how you remember it?
After two sell-out wet and wild seasons in Fringe 2021 and 2022, the Milk team is bringing you a festive show for your summer. Starring Mia Oudes, Tim Fraser, Anna Barker, Dylan Hutton, Sean Burnett Dugdale-Martin with Daniel Nodder returning and newcomer Emma Rattenbury this show will feature a rotating cast. Keep an eye on socials for who's on when!
New Zealand Theatre Live creates work under a kaupapa of messy, chaotic, joy as well as being environmentally conscious. The electricity in the theatre comes from Wellington's clean green energy grid, our water balloons are made of recycled materials and are an NZ invention, and when a milk balloon hits the stage (spoilers) be aware that it is not dairy milk it is, in fact, oat milk because that is the milk alternative that requires the least water to create and comes in a recyclable container, unlike tetra packs which can't be recycled in NZ (spoilers?)
