Meet at Tāne Whakapiripiri Visitor Center.
This walk is a chance to learn about the animal pests and predators found in Ōtari and how they are being controlled. We will walk up the Red Trail following one of the trap lines to see traps and monitoring devices in action. Not all traps are on the trail so we will be on some uneven terrain.
Suitable footwear is essential and a reasonable level of fitness. Suitable for family groups.
