Our food tours have been developed by our experienced specialist guides from years of working in the food and hospitality industry. Being "foodies" ourselves, we love to explore the places we visit and we believe a tasting experience is one of the most fun ways to learn about the people and the culture of an area as you travel.

Taste of Plenty tours will take you "off the eaten track" whether you are new to our area or a local who wants to reconnect with what is available in your region, so let us show you some of the hidden gems of our region.

Our tour groups are kept small so we can provide you with the very best experience, usually from 6 to 14 person, though we can arrange tour itineraries for larger groups if required. If you book for at least 10 persons we will run the tour just for your group. his is our starter tasting tour with the added visit to a local French style cafe for sweet desert crepes, a great way to finalise this foodie experience, usually lasts around 4 to 5 hours.

What's included:
- Scenic Foodie Tour - 4 - 5 hours
- Fully guided tour with a knowledgeable local guide
- Air-conditioned vehicles
- Small group tour (maximum 14)

Minimum 5 Tasting Visits - You might taste sourdough, local cheeses, olive oils, kiwi fruit, avocados, smoked meats, Manuka honey, gelato, seasonal fruits, to name a few.

Learn about the people behind the food, as well as the history and the culture of the Bay of Plenty.
