Educate for Nature Conservation week special: Learn about native plant identification and our unique flora in this area of botanical significance. Get up close and personal with our natives and learn how to identify these unique plants as Neill Simpson from the Whakatipu Reforestation Trust guides you through mixed-beech forest to explore the wonders of Bobs Cove. No one knows natives like Neill!

An easy walk suitable for all - including families and a local’s favourite, breaming with natives and fantastic views just 20 minutes out of town at Bobs Cove Recreation Reserve.

Take time to stay on and explore at your own leisure after.

What to bring: Walking shoes; warm layers; water; camera; sunscreen and raincoat (we will go rain or shine - unless it is torrential or too windy! please check on the day).

Transport available and free, thanks to our generous friends at Altitude Tours. Spaces are limited so please book in advance, by calling the Queenstown DOC Visitor Centre.
