Introducing The Brendon Ham Band

The BRENDON HAM BAND (aka the NITRO ROCKERS)

Award-winning and "NZ Music Awards – Tui" finalists, the Brendon Ham Band are regarded as NZ’s premier honky-tonk country unit having built a solid reputation and embraced an ever-increasing popularity with their own brand of gritty rockin'-country music whilst paving the way for a contemporary urban flavour. The Brendon Ham Band has deservedly earned the respect of a growing fan base across the ages and genres eager to enjoy the unique package that the Brendon Ham Band delivers. Having shared the stage with both international and national performers, the Brendon Ham Band has performed and appears at a variety of venues and annual prestigious events including:

- ANZAC DAY annual commemorations – Grey Lynn
- Whangamata Beach Hop and many others
- Kumeu Volunteer Fire-Brigade Hoedown – Kumeu
- Stragglers Classic Car Festival – Lake Karipiro
- Greenhithe Rock-The-Hithe Hospice Fundraiser
- World International Rodeo Championships – Claudelands Arena, Hamilton
- Music In The Parks – Auckland

The Brendon Ham Band also appear as their 1950’s style alter-ego’s "The NITRO ROCKERS", playing and performing at multiple Rock’n’Roll Hops and celebrations including the prestigious Beach Hop at Whangamata as above. Often asked who the biggest influences for the band are, well it really is the honesty of a few generations of real music. Their musical influences and heroes are many and spread across a range of genres. Although country music, including original material, is the true spirit of the Brendon Ham Band, each member contributes their own style and influences giving an unforgettable show.
