This upgrade lets you make a hunting/skinning/petty knife with a wooden handle, you’ll use basic forging techniques to transform your steel into a functional tool and add some woodworking skills to provide a comfortable grip.
We’ll break down the techniques to create your own knife using simple preform shape, focusing forging with purpose. This is a great class for those branching out from stock removal knives into blacksmithing.
You will make a medium-sized utility or cooking knife, roughly 225mm35cm total length (blade length around 125mm17cm).
