Coaching session for board and committee members and owners of ECE centres. The session will cover an introduction to what you need to consider for governance of your ECE centre. Hosted by Michael Campbell who has been chair of an ECE centre and chair and member of various other boards as well as training new ECE teachers, and running the Gathering ECE PD sessions with the team at UC, Michael brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise. Michael will cover governance principles including how to ensure a great curriculum without treading on teachers' toes, transition to school, health and safety, employment, finance, reporting to stakeholders and Ministry, ERO, and finally fundraising, a really important topic for all centres.
Should the session not run, full refunds will be provided. If the session should be oversubscribed alternate sessions will be arranged.
