Bring your friends along to this tasty night out for budding mixologists and enjoy a night of cocktail making and chemistry, the ultimate Friday night out at Otago Museum!
Learn to make specialty cocktails with our friends from The Alchemist, blitz up a bramble and mix up an apple martini in this one-off interactive workshop! Quench your thirst for knowledge with our Science team who will be running science demos and experiments all linked to the chemistry of cocktail making. Start your night with a gin tasting with our friends at Sandymount Distillery.
Participants will grow their cocktail knowledge as they move through each special recipe, taking away skills and techniques for cocktail making at home – and will learn the fundamentals of cocktail making and the chemistry behind making the perfect drink! You can experiment with new flavour combinations and techniques to personalise your cocktail too.
Otago Museum’s café will be open all night serving hot meals and delicious antipasti platters so you won’t go hungry.
This is an adults-only event, ID will be checked on arrival. Groups will be seated separately, please email bookings@otagomuseum.nz if you have booked separately from your party but wish to sit together.
