Professional dancer and tutor, Chris, will fascinate and charm you in such a way that you will open up, and through dance and movement reconnect to an old self you yearn for, but thought was long gone.
Description
Australian Dance Theatre professional dancer, Chris, is offering this limited one-time-only course. Do not miss this unique opportunity! This course is an introduction to the foundation and basic technique of contemporary dance. Aimed at all capabilities and experience. This program will take you through a combination of contemporary warm-ups using elements of Yoga stretching, Pilates core and exciting new pathways. Diving into some basic floor work and standing combinations, you will feel the flow of contemporary dance. Over this program we will work towards achieving a simple contemporary phrase that you can confidently do in time with a beautiful soundscape. Whether you have danced before or want to give something new a try, this program offers all abilities to share the human connection of dance in a safe and encouraging environment.
Note: Courses need a minimum number to go ahead so if we don't have enough enrolments a few days before the start date, we have to cancel. We'll let you know by email so please check yours regularly.
