Continuing Legacy: 150 Years of Masterton Trust Lands Trust

Masterton Trust Lands Trust was formed in 1872, born out of the Small Farms Association which established Masterton and Greytown. Unsold land in each township was set aside for trusts to administer with the income devoted to educational and cultural purposes.

The exhibition traverses the Trust's highs and lows since its inception with trustees honouring the vision of that first generation of Mastertonians, putting people and community first.

Curated by Wairarapa legend Gareth Winter, the exhibition celebrates 150 years of Masterton Trust Lands Trust and is accompanied by a publication.
