Description
The lentil is perhaps the world’s most versatile and indestructible food. It has significant health benefits from lowering cholesterol to supporting weight loss – and lentils are delicious when cooked well. Enjoy this half-day course that will show you how to cook lentils properly and make the most of this nutritious staple ingredient. Discover spices to complement and enhance lentils and create some mouth-watering dishes.

All ingredients included in course fee. Please bring your apron, a couple of teatowels, a sharp knife and leak-proof containers to take your food home in.

By the end of the course, you’ll be able to:

Recognise some different types of lentils.
Cook some delicious lentil dishes.
Understand some spices that will work well with lentils.
Follow simple recipes.
