Ten creative days to discover, connect and enjoy life on the beautiful Kāpiti Coast, soaking up gorgeous sunsets, and taking time out to explore your creativity. Welcome to the first Creative Manaaki Winter Series where you get to reconnect with live music, experience six Art for Everyone art exhibitions across the community and explore your own creativity in a range of creative workshops on the Kāpiti Coast. Need some time out? Want to do something different with friends and family? Looking for a fun Queens Birthday weekend? This is the event for you. Because we believe art is for everyone.

Creative Workshops - start your Winter by taking some creative time out with friends and family and enjoy learning a creative skill with our friendly arts tutors, Choose from an exciting lineup of children's and adults workshops, taught by practising artists, either at their studio or in community venues. Art for Everyone exhibitions - since 2020, a range of curated gallery spaces have been created in unloved and/or everyday settings in the community and we are delighted to present six solo and group exhibitions as part of the Winter Series. Live Music - kicking off the Winter Series is Rock the Pinetrees featuring five rock bands performing at Paraparaumu Beach, along with bilingual husband and wife duo Aro, performing at Raumati Social Club the following weekend and more live music gigs on the coast.
