Dux Live & Dux Central Present: COLOUR Hip Hop Takeover.

Christchurch Hip Hop group CAPGUN CORP return for their second Colour appearance, and are joined this time by INFRARED, PROPHET+ THANKS

CAPGUN CORP is a collective of independent hip-hop artists based in Ōtautahi, Aotearoa. The crew is ever-growing on its quest to re-invigorate the local rap scene through positivity and inclusion, utilising principles of classic hip-hop with a modern twist.
Over the past year their shows have helped get an array of underground talent out of the shadows and onto the stage. Embracing their authentic selves, each member brings a unique style and skillset to the table through a team of rappers, producers, audio engineers, designers and free thinkers.

THANKS takes a break from his dolphin-training-day-job to treat us to a rare glimpse of what a man can do with a pair of turntables & the entire D’angelo back catalogue. With over 20 years’ experience supporting the likes of Xzibit, Ciara, A$AP Ferg, Roc Raida, Sir-Vere, J5, TJ & Mizzel.

PROPHET will be spinning the decks with a wealth of experience under his belt, having supported NZ legends P-Money, Scribe and DJ Sivere among others.

Local legend DJ INFRARED completes the lineup on the night. Hailing from Christchurch, Infrared co-founded the south islands number 1 DJ collective Clubkingz in 2005. He’s been playing concerts & festivals ever since and has profoundly influenced the urban movement in Canterbury & successfully cultivated a loyal fan base throughout New Zealand & Australia.

And of course FREE HOTDOGS!
Doors open at 7:30pm.
Students free before 9pm.
