An outstanding presentation by Nathan Wallis and Lance Burdett which was recorded live at the La Vida Centre in Christchurch earlier this year! Tune in to view!

Anxiety, or depression, and possibly suicide affects all families. It affects my family, it affects my friends' families, it probably affects your family too. And, right now, you are likely thinking about someone you know who is going through or has gone through one of those three things. Because of that thought, your mood has dropped.

Lance Burdett, founder of WARN International joins Nathan Wallis, renowned neuroscience educator in this first-time event. In 1999, Lance had his own battle with depression caused by burnout during his 22 years of policing experience at the highest level, 13 as a crisis negotiator. Studying the causes, he now provides presentations and workshops on how to adapt to the pressure and stress that we all face. Combining Nathan’s knowledge of neuroscience and recovery from trauma with Lances’ extensive experience, they will both share practical tips on understanding how your brain responds to and heals from trauma, how to reduce the impact of stress and what you can do in your everyday life to improve the quality of that life for yourself and others.
