Join Tim Bray Youth Theatre for an introduction, for ages 8-10, to creative drama designed specifically for those autistic and neurodiverse tamariki whose unique voices, personalities and views are ready to burst forth.
Small groups of children will spend an hour of each day with our experienced drama tutors Jeanita and Jackson, gently exploring imagination and creativity together in a fun and inclusive environment. Tim Bray Youth Theatre is passionate about making drama accessible to young neuro-divergent performers and focuses on building connections and confidence through drama games, characterisation, storytelling and the students' specialised interests.
There is also opportunity for parents and caregivers to meet with each other and to talk with our tutors.
This holiday programme is an excellent introduction to our new Extraordinarily Creative drama classes at Meadowood Community House, Rosedale, in Term 3, but is also a fun stand-alone holiday activity for neuro-diverse students.
