Did you know that New Zealand’s most significant concentration of food scientists and innovators is located just over the Manawatū River?

Here’s your chance to see, taste and learn about the fantastic food innovation that goes on right on your doorstep. There will be displays showcasing innovative projects and products from AgResearch, Fonterra, Massey University and Plant & Food Research, as well as exciting food entrepreneurs from across our region. What do you think about ice cream from cauliflower? Well, we think it’s awesome, but come and try for yourself! Beverages that help your brain and body work better? Meat substitutes from hemp? Freeze-dried ice cream? Mushrooms you can grow in your shower?

All these and more.
There will be chef demonstrations, products to purchase, food trucks, education, coffee and even robots.
