Gisborne Canoe and Tramping Club - Cycle Ride Paratu Road

Drop off with cycles at the SH2 end of Paritu Road near the summit of the Wharerata hills and cycle generally downhill to Mahanga and a little further to finish at Opoutama, about 25 km. This is a hilly mountain bike ride on a variety of surfaces – firmly packed gravel, rough loose gravel, firm dirt, and grass, then a sealed road at the end. We will have a pick-up at Opoutama.
