A 5-day creative escape for ages 7-9 led by Auckland’s leading theatre for children, Tim Bray Theatre Company. Young actors will rehearse and perform their own theatrical creation, ready to Hit the Stage! at the end of the week with a free-entry performance for family and friends..

Students will learn the creative and practical skills of the rehearsal process, with Tim Bray Youth Theatre professional tutors. The week builds the young actor's confidence and skills and explores voice work, movement, improvisation, characterisation and creative collaboration.

Free performance for friends and family: Friday 22 July 5:30-6:30pm at TAPAC.

Book early to secure a place for this school holiday theatrical escape as Hit The Stage! regularly sells out. Additional siblings $288.

NB: On Friday 22 July you may collect your child at 3 pm as usual and return them at 4:30pm to prepare for the show OR your child may remain in our care until the show begins (please ensure they have food and drink to eat). There will be a sheet for you to sign mid-week indicating if your child is remaining and also for you to indicate the number of people attending the performance.

Established 30 years ago, Tim Bray Theatre Company is recognised as Auckland's leading theatre for children and is administered by The Operating Theatre Trust, a registered charitable trust. Founder Tim Bray is the best-selling playwright for children in New Zealand and has been awarded a Queen’s Service Medal for services to children and theatre.
